Fantasy of Flight posted pictures on Facebook yesterday of the engine run of their TBF. They are currently working on getting this airframe current so it can be flown, as well as painted.
This aircraft was part of the Taimiami museum and was the last aircraft owned by Mr Weeks to be brought out of his old museum site.
The Commemorative Air Force’s P-51C “Red Tails” Mustang will be visiting Florida again. Current stops are:
American Aero Services hosted an Open Hangar Day to showcase the work that they do. Part of this work is the winter maintenance of the Collings Foundation’s Bomber Fleet.

DABspotting posted this video on YouTube on Friday of the engine start up of the Collings Foundation’s B-17 at New Symnra Beach Airport. This B-17, as well as many others in the Collings fleet, spend part of the winter doing yearly maintenenace.
The DC-3 that is part of the Flagship Detroit Foundation is touring around Florida through April.
