Military Aviation Museum’s B-17 Chuckie coming to Florida

The B-17 “Chuckie” owned by Jerry Yagen is coming to the Valiant Air Command’s airshow in March.

Tico Warbird Airshow tickets available online

Tickets for the 2013 Valiant Air Command airshow can be bought in advance and online for a discounted price. Adult tickets are $15 and children between 5 and 12 are $5 each.

VAC/KSC Ticket Combo Package

The Valiant Air Command and the Kennedy Space Center Visitor’s Complex have teamed up to provide a ticket package for people to attend the Tico Airshow and visit the Kennedy Space center during the 22-24 March weekend. Tickets are $50 per adult and $40 per child to attend both events.

Collings Foundation B-17 engine start up

DABspotting posted this video on YouTube on Friday of the engine start up of the Collings Foundation’s B-17 at New Symnra Beach Airport. This B-17, as well as many others in the Collings fleet, spend part of the winter doing yearly maintenenace.
