Rival group vows to take over DeLand Naval Air Museum

A growing rift between rival factions among DeLand Naval Air Station Museum volunteers made for a contentious annual meeting Jan. 16.
Some members of the museum were ejected. They moved to another place to convene what they said was the organization’s truly legitimate meeting.
MacDill AFB Airfest moved to 3-4 May
MacDill Airfest is being moved to the first weekend of May. The Canadian Air Force Snowbirds are going to be the feature act. They were previously scheduled to be at the Air and Sea Show in Fort Lauderdale but this so has been canceled to the lack of a major sponsor. Some awesome warbirds should be in attendance.
