The Colling’s Foundation has acquired a F6F-3 Hellcat and the restoration to flying status will occur at American Aero.

The Valiant Air Command is having an Open House on 10 & 11 November, in conjunction with the Veteran’s Day Weekend. All Military, Active or Retire and all Florida Residents, with proper ID will be admitted free. Flybys, static displays and a car show will occur during the weekend.

On 29 September, the Smithsonian Museum supports “Museum Day” across America. During this day, museums waive the entrance fee for people wanting to visiting.
Two aviation museums are participating in Florida, the Florida Air Museum in Lakeland and the National Naval Aviation Museum in Pensacola. NNAM is usually free to attendees.
