F-4 display in Miami to undergo upkeep

A-36 Apache paint is done

American Aero Services has posted pictures of the Collings Foundation A-36 Apache with its final paint scheme.

Engine run of P-51 Luscious Lisa, NL51MV

The first engine run of P-51 Luscious Lisa occurred a couple of month ago at the Trudeau Warbird Enterprise in Punta Gorda. This is the first running of an engine on this airframe since the hard landing back in 2008.

 

CAF Florida Wing posts Dec 2011 newsletter

The Florida Wing of Commemorative Air Force has posted their Dec 2011 newsletter online. Great story about the history of the current wing dating back to 1995 to current.

Goal is early 2014 to get the TBM in the air.

Valiant Air Command Newsletter, 1st Quarter 2012

The latest edition of the “Unscramble” newsletter for the Valiant Air Command has been posted on their website.

Highlights include:
