The first engine run of P-51 Luscious Lisa occurred a couple of month ago at the Trudeau Warbird Enterprise in Punta Gorda. This is the first running of an engine on this airframe since the hard landing back in 2008.

The P-51, previously known as “Dixie Boy” has been repainted and is now known as “Miss Kandy”. This Mustang is based at Stallion 51.

The Commemorative Air Force’s Red Tail Squadron will be in Florida with their award winning P-51C along with the mobile display. They can be visited at the New Smynra Beach airshow on 23 March and during the Sun N Fun airshow. Hopefully more Florida dates become available.
P-51, N55JL, “Cloud Dancer” previously owned by Jimmy Leeward and based Leeward Air Ranch has been sold. It is now based in Montana. More details can be found here.
