Fantasy of Flight Tempest V update

Kermit Week’s has posted a major update with pictures on his blog about his Tempest V. This warbird is being restored to static condition with an option to restore to an airworthy condition. Hopefully this warbird will make it to the Fantasy of Flight museum in 2011.

American Aero Services has updated their website

Lots of updates on the American Aero Services website to include info on the restoration of the A-36 and L1 (which I saw on I-4 as it was being trucked north) and their NASA work. Pictures after the jump.

Deland Naval Air Station Museum newsletter

P-51 Dixie Boy wins Grand Champion at Sun N Fun 2010

American Aero Services is proud to announce that their restoration of P-51 “Dixie Boy” took the Grand Champion trophy at this year’s Sun N Fun show.
