Reminder: Liberty Belle will be in Kissimmee on 3-4 October 09. The B-17 “Liberty Belle” will be visiting a few more places in Florida in September and October according to their website. Warbird fans in Tampa, Fort Lauderdale and Kissimmee need to see this bird up close. Hopefully it will be spending the winter at Fantasy of Flight like it did a couple of years ago.

B-25H Mitchell “Barbie III” is heading to Florida
The B-25H Mitchell, known as “Barbie III“, is heading to Florida and will be based in Marathon as part of History Flight. It should tour around Florida in 2010.
TBM Avenger now at FoF
Mr Week’s last airplane, a TBM Avenger, that was at the Miami site was flown up to the Fantasy of Flight Museum recently. This aircraft was damaged during Hurricane Andrew in 1992.
P-38 “Putt Putt Maru” and Sptifire Vb move out of Florida
The P-38 and Spitfire owned by Tom Blair and based in Kissimee have been sold to Tom Friedkin and moved to Texas. Sad to see these planes leave Florida.
Another P-51 heading to Florida
Over at the WIX forum, mention was made of another P-51 making its was to Florida to be based at Stallion 51. TF-51, 44-74497 (N6320) “Little Witch” has been purchased by Jim Godwin of New York.
