CAF B-17 Texas Raider coming to Florida

The CAF Gulf Coast Wing has announced that they will be bringing their B-17 to Florida to attend the following airshows and give rides.

Open Hangar Day, American Aero Services, 22 Feb

American Aero Services will be having an Open Hangar Day on 22 February at their hangar. The Colling’s Foundation bombers will be on hand for their last visit before heading out on tour.
Visitors are requested to bring a pet food item for donation that will go to the Human Society.

Hangar is open from 9am to 2 pm.

NNAM displays restored F6F-3 Hellcat

The National Naval Aviation Museum has recently put on display a restored F6F-3 Hellcat, BN 25910, that recovered from Lake Michigan. This aircraft crashed back in 1943 while making landing approaches with the USS Sable.
