From Kermit Week’s via Facebook:
“The fire suppression guys start tomorrow and unfortunately I’ve got some bad news for those that wanted to visit the “Museum” before the end of the year. They are a week behind schedule and won’t be done until mid-December . . . which means we would not be able to open until Friday, December 19th. Since so many of us will be off for the Holidays . . . it looks like we will not open now until Friday, January 9th.
Sorry about that. We’ll open when we open. — at Fantasy of Flight.“
The Colling’s Foundations P-40B suffered a gear failure during a test flight yesterday. Pilot was not injured.
From the Fantasy of Flight Facebook page, details about the re-opening are coming to light.
Current plans are to open on 5 December and be open only on Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 11 to 3. There will be a gift shop available but no food. Admission price is unknown right now.
