Fantasy of Flight “Lite” Museum open again

The Fantasy of Flight “Lite” Museum reopens on 9 November and will be open every Friday, Saturday and Sunday through April 2019. Hours are 11 am to 3 pm. Strongly suggest calling before visiting the museum to ensure that they are not hosting a special event.

Colling’s Foundation tour stop in Leesburg, FL

Colling’s Foundation Wings of Freedom Tour makes it last stop of 2018 at the Leesburg International Airport (LEE), in west central Florida on November 8 @ 2:00 pm – November 11 @ 12:00 pm. Both airplane flights and walk on tours are available.

11/9/2018 – 9:00 AM till 4:00 PM
11/10/2018 – 9:00 AM till 4:00 PM
11/11/2018 – 9:00 AM till 12:00 PM
$15 Adults / $5 Children 12 and under.

Flights take place before and after tours.
30-minute flight on the B-17 or B-24 is $450 per person
30-minute flight training on the P-51 is $2200
60-minute flight training on the P-51 is $3200

“Class of 45” coming to the Stuart Airshow, 2-4 November

Coming back to Florida again this year at the Stuart Airshow, is the duo that makes up the “Class of 45” flight demo. Jim Tobul, the owner of the the F4U-4 Corsair “Korean War Hero” and Scott Yoak, owner of the P-51D Mustang “Quick Silver” have created a flight demonstration that pays respect the men and women that fought during the Second World War. If you did not get a chance to see their flight demo in Lakeland, here is your chance.
