Sanford-Orlando Airport, PV-1 Ventura moved to new location

The Lockheed PV-1 Ventura, that is on loan from the US Navy, is getting one step closer to be finished. The aircraft was recently moved and lifted to the new terminal that is under construction.  Restoration began back in the 2000 (history of the aircraft) with a different plan before the growth of the airport.

Here are some photos of the restoration from 2014.

Can’t wait to see this aircraft once the new terminal is open.

2019 Space Coast Warbird Airshow — Information

In case you are following my site for show info, please read up on some of the rules about the show here. Cant stress enough that water and sunblock are two important items along with a hat. Sun can be brutal and if you are fare-skinned like me, it hurts.

Tickets can be bought online and I suggest doing the before arriving as the lines could be long. There is a golf cart shuttle from the main parking lot to the entrance.

2019 Space Coast Warbird Airshow — Setup time

2019 Space Coast Warbird Airshow Performer Alert — USN Tailhook Legacy Flight with T-45 Goshawk & F4U-4 Corsiar

This years Legacy Flight will feature both the exceptional USN T-45 Goshawk Trainer and the incredible “Korean War Hero” F4U-4 Corsair. ”

This aircraft wont be able to attend as it is DOWN for maintenance.

Coming to Titusville again to attend the VAC airshow, is the National Warplane Museum’s B-17 “Movie Memphis Belle.” Flights will be available in this aircraft and can be booked by visiting this link.
