From the Collings Foundation Facebook page:
“Congratulations to the restoration team of American Aero Services for the well-deserved win of World War II Reserve Grand Champion Warbird for the restoration of Grumman F6F-3 Hellcat BuNo 41476 at EAA AirVenture this past week! After seven years of restoration, the rare Hellcat is in factory-fresh condition and will eventually find itself in MA for display at various Collings Foundation events and airshows in the region.”
