Closures affecting warbirds in Florida

To all of the faithful followers of warbirds, various warbird museums/collections/shows in Florida have enacted various states of closures, limitations or are open. This list is not inclusive of all locations, I will list what I know of and will update this list as possible.

Again, best thing to do is call before traveling to visit.

Warbirds Adventure: Currently open.
Fantasy of Flight: Open Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
Valiant Air Command: Open for weekends only starting 16 October 2020.
Air Force Armament Museum: Opening as of 1 July 2020.
National Naval Air Museum: Open to Active Duty members and their dependent family members starting 15 September 2020.
Stallion 51: Lots of people like to stop by and they are very accommodating to visitors, not sure if this is still the case.
American Aero Services: Doors are open to visitors.
Florida Air Museum: Temporary hours as of May 29, 2020. At this time, we will be open on weekends – Friday and Saturday from 10 am to 4 pm and Sundays 12 pm from 4 pm. $10 admission donation for adults 18 and older.
Deland Naval Air Museum: Closed at this time.

Sun N Fun 2020 Warbird Announcement: C-47 “Tico Belle” and TBM Avenger from VAC

The Valiant Air Command will be attending Sun N Fun 2020 with their C-47 “Tico Belle” and TBM Avenger. The C-47 “Tico Belle” was used during D-Day, as well as other WW2 operations.

The Valiant Air Command’s TBM Avenger was recently returned to airworthy flight status.

Sun N Fun 2020 Warbird Announcement: Class of 45; F4U-4 Corsair “Korean War Hero” and P-51 “Quicksilver”

Returning to Sun N Fun, will be the “Class of 45” duo featuring Jim Tobul and his “Korean War Hero” F4U-4 Corsair and Scott “Scooter” Yoaks  QuickSilver P-51. If you have not seen them perform, plan on attending. They will be part of the Wednesday evening show.

Sun N Fun 2020 Warbird Announcement: Lewis Air Legends

Lewis Air Legends will be returning to Sun N Fun 2020 with their de Havilland Mosquito, Grumman F7F Tigercat, North American B-25 Mitchell and Grumman F8F Bearcat, of course maintenance and weather permitting. These aircraft will be flying on Wednesday and Thursday, during the Warbird airshow slot, which is expanded to an hour each of those days!
