Fellow employees
A couple of months ago, a fellow employee came into my office and saw some of the pictures I had on my walls. He saw one and said, “my uncle owns a P-51.” As soon as he said those words, I immediately knew his uncle was Shelby Burch, the proud owner of “Dixie Boy.”
Today, he brought in the article from the EAA Warbirds magazine and I sat there and read the whole article about his uncle’s plane. He asked me if I thought him crazy to not go for a flight with him in the Mustang, and I him he need to get his butt in the plane the next time he is offered a ride.
