“Fifi” Goes to Florida
With the new year it’s time to remind you of our new schedule! Here’s the lineup once again for our spring Florida tour. We also have quite a few cool aircraft joining us at these stops, including the CAF Gulf Coast Wing’s B-17 Texas Raiders on the Naples, Lakeland and Daytona stops!

Commemorative Air Force B-17 Texas Raider is coming to Florida
The Commemorative Air Force B-17 Texas Raider is coming to Florida to tour the state. Dates are:
March 11-13, Punta Gorda, Florida
March 16-20, Naples, Florida
March 23-27, Lakeland, Florida
March 30-April 3, Daytona, Florida

Weeks TP-40N flies again
Kermit Weeks has gotten his TP-40N flying again after sitting for the past 4 years. Work was needed on the landing gear system as this aircraft had a landing gear not retract. Weeks previously had a landing gear failure on his other P-40 and decided to install a secondary system to the TP-40N.
American Aero Services P-51 Restoration
The new Collings Foundation North American TF-51D Mustang being restored at American Aero Services will be named “Toulouse Nuts.” According to the Collings Founcation, “The Foundation’s TF-51D is one of three original TF-51Ds remaining in the world. This fighter will be painted in its original markings as a West Virginia Air Guard, 167th Fighter Squadron P-51.”
