MacDill AFB will have the B-29, known as “Doc”, as static display for its airshow on 29-30 March. MacDill has a long history of B-29s being stationed on base.
“Doc” was restored and returned to the air in 2016 after serving as a target at China Lake. It is a truly an amazing restoration.
