From Valiant Air Command Facebook page: “We have been chosen by the California Science Center Museum to restore an early model Grumman F11F-1 Tiger. The US Navy has approved the Valiant Air Command to perform the restoration. Once completed and shipped to the California Science Center Museum, it will be hung from the ceiling in an inverted position. We received this aircraft a few weeks ago, where it was a gatekeeper for decades at the Admiral Farragut Academy in St. Petersburg, Fl.”
