The Valiant Air Command just announced that the Commemorative Air Force’s P-63 will be coming to this year’s airshow. The P-63 is based in central Georgia and is assigned to the Dixie Wing.

While down under in Australia recently, I got a chance to visit my Boomerang project that is being restored by Matt Denning in his shop at the Caboolture Airport in Queensland, just north of Brisbane. Here’s Part 1 of a 4 Part Kermie Cam of my visit there. There’s a lot of information on my project as well as the history of the Boomerang and Wirraway and the design and development of both. Was a fun and informative visit, so I hope you enjoy the clips. Kermit
“The crew at Fantasy of Flight attempt a start up of the CAC Wirraway after several months trying to figure out what was causing a lack of pressure in the fuel system. After consulting with several outside sources and working on different solutions, they finally are ready to see if it is sorted out. Let’s all see!”
The Valiant Air Command has announced that Classic Fighters of America and Doug Matthews will be flying his P-51D Mustang “The Rebel” and his T-33 Shooting Star at the April show.

Early bird tickets to the 2018 Valiant Air Command airshow are available now through early February. Tickets and prices can be found here.
